Saudi Arabia has recently announced 600 fully-funded scholarships exclusively for Pakistani students to study at diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels in the Kingdom. According to a statement released by the Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia, both students residing in Pakistan and those legally living in Saudi Arabia are eligible to apply.

Procedure to Apply

  • Students must apply directly on the respective university’s website or online portal.
  • Each university sets its own eligibility criteria and application deadlines—consult the official website for specific details.
  • Applications must be forwarded to the Saudi Ministry of Education via the university, and a copy should be sent to the official email of the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh (Parepriyadh@mofa.gov.pk).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be Pakistani or Azad Jammu and Kashmir nationals.
  • 75% of the scholarships are reserved for Pakistani students from Pakistan, while 25% are for Pakistani students residing in Saudi Arabia.
  • Both male and female students are eligible.
  • Age limits: 17–25 years for Bachelor’s, up to 30 years for Master’s, and less than 35 years for PhD programs at the application deadline.
  • Selected applicants will start their programs in September/October each year.
  • Applicants must not hold any other scholarship and should have no criminal record or previous academic suspension.
